Quelltuffhang in Lingenau – Where “ water turns to stone”.

Experience the largest tuff area of Vorarlberg, one of the most impressive geological phenomena of this region. The water flows in little rivulets from sources (some forming baldachins that look like multi-coloured layers of a Sacher Torte, some of them forming sinter curtains) until it reaches the bed of the Subersach brook. Explore this natural phenomenon with an expert guide.

Clothes suitable for hiking and rainwear are necessary; take a small snack with you.
